delivery information

Delivery/Shipping costs are included for full pallets unless otherwise stated for orders over £500 + vat.

We would always recommend ordering full pallets as this reduces the risk of damage/breakage in transit.

Orders under this value or in the postcodes listed below will have delivery charges applied*

We use pallet networks for our deliveries and have to abide by their terms and are charged a fixed amount for space taken on a vehicle. Delivery cost is based on a number of factors including:

  • Dimensions of Shipment
  • Weight of Shipment
  • Delivery Postcode
  • Speed of Delivery
  • Level of handling (splitting down pallets) & making the part pallet safe for transportation.

In summary, the smaller the order and the more handling involved will potentially incur higher delivery costs.

Our delivery costs are benchmarked on a regular basis to ensure they are competitive and we only pass on the minimal amount we need to.

Orders are dispatched for delivery within four working days. Express (Next Day) and Timed Deliveries may be available but are subject to surcharges.

Deliveries normally occur between 8am and 6pm on weekdays and once an order has been prepared you will be informed of the delivery date and offered to track information depending on how the network operates.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING REGARDING THE PHYSICAL DELIVERY OF YOUR GOODS:

  • KERBSIDE DELIVERIES ONLY – Deliveries are strictly to the kerbside/driveway on flat and even hard surfaces via tail lift and a pallet truck. If your property has restricted access please let us know at the time of ordering via the delivery restrictions comments box. Hazards or obstructions e.g. steps, lifts, uneven or gravel paths/driveways may necessitate the delivery being made to an alternative location nearest to the delivery vehicle. Please advise of any delivery restrictions in advance as delivery issues may incur a re-delivery charge at a cost of £30.00 per pallet.

The following video explains this further – Palletways Delivery Advice Video

Paving 24/7 uses a third-party pallet delivery network therefore unforeseen delays can occur especially in the peak seasons. We advise that you do not book your Landscapers, Installers, Ground Workers, or Tool Hire, etc. until you are in receipt of the goods and sadly Paving 24/7 cannot accept liability for any costs associated with these in the event of a failed delivery.

Full pallets are delivered via an 18T vehicle with an electric pump truck. THE DELIVERY WILL NOT BE MADE ON A HIAB VEHICLE. Small orders or porcelain decor may be delivered via a 7.5 T Vehicle. If a HIAB Vehicle is required the most cost-effective solution is for us to deliver to a HIAB company close to your location.

Delivery drivers are unable to break down or handball goods when they arrive on site and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they are safe/moved to the rear of the property once delivered.  Please take caution when removing all packaging to avoid damage and injury. Please assess the weight of the boxes as tiles can be heavy, and precautions may need to be made.

If an order is unable to be delivered due to access, terrain, failure to sign for the delivery, or unforeseen weight issues then re-delivery will be the customer’s responsibility and we can accept no liability for any additional charges this may incur.

Deliveries must be signed for on arrival, if you see any issues/damages with your delivery on arrival you should sign for as damaged and inform us within 48 hours.

*Delivery of the majority of UK mainland postcodes is included in the product prices. However the following locations may incur an additional charge, please contact us at Paving 24/7 regarding delivery to the below.
